Difference between chrome and stainless steel grills
Chrome and stainless steel are actually quite different. I would say that stainless steel is not as bright as chrome, but it can last much longer and look better without maintenance. Having said that, chrome is a great choice because it shines like no other. To keep chrome looking shiny, I would recommend using chrome polish every chance you get. If you drive your vehicle in the winter, salt, rock chips, and the elements can definitely catch up with chrome. This can make it look pitted and not shiny. Stainless steel has a higher resistance to the elements, but again it is not as bright. I would also make sure to take care of stainless steel, as it can also get discolored after time.
